About this project

The impact of climate change on hydro-meteorological hazards, impact-based forecasting, Decision Support Systems (DSS) for emergency management, and mitigation and adaptation planning are just a few of the novel frameworks for multi-hazard risk assessment that Excelgeomatics RDC has developed by utilizing its domain expertise. Furthermore, we have led the way in agri-value chain management using software platforms and climate-based warnings for farmers in order to ensure food security.

In order to address a wide range of hazards, including water availability, floods, cyclones, earthquakes, tsunamis, avalanches, droughts, landslides, forest fires, urban fires, and industrial hazards, our models blend standard statistical techniques, numerical models, and machine learning algorithms.

With more than 20 years of expertise, Excelgeomatics RDC has worked closely with national and state governments as well as multilateral financial organizations like the UNDP, IFC, UNISDR, ADB, FAO and World Bank.
